The boys of ASC2NT haven’t taken a rest yet as they work hard to make 2024 their big year! After making their anticipated debut in May of this year with their single album Expecting Tomorrow under NEWWAYS Company, members Karam, INjun, Jay, Reon, and Kyle are officially announcing their comeback and world tour!
The boy group has prepared for the release of their second single album Conversion Part.1 diligently and plan to showcase it to fans across the globe in major cities such as Taiwan, Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax from early October until the end of November.
The new album and title track “Your Echo” features a synthetic beat that echoes throughout the track and complements the title effortlessly. Paired with the hypnotic ticking of a clock and melodic piano-like keys, the track strongly emulates a sound uncanny to BTS while being original at the same time. Now, the five members of ASC2NT join ZAPZEE to quickly share their thoughts on their comeback, the importance of their new second single album Conversion Part.1 and just how much they enjoyed preparing for this tour and new MV. See the fun stories they shared with ZAPEE’s exclusive interview below.
Q1. ASC2NT will release their second single album, Conversion Part.1 soon. Please introduce the album briefly and the message you want to send to your fans through these songs.
KARAM: Our second single album is a continuation of our first album, Expecting Tomorrow. It contains a new set of challenges and changes that we have encountered as idols along the way. It also contains new possibilities that we have discovered. We hope fans (EPPY) will join us in moving forward to a greater future!
REON: I hope that our blood, sweat, tears, and hard work will be pleasurable for the fans. We prepared a lot for this second album so EPPY please show us a lot of support and attention!
Q2. “Your Echo” has a special MV. How did it feel to collaborate with the Venders team who produced music for groups like EXO, NCT, Wanna One, TXT, and ENHYPEN? Did anything interesting happen while working on the song or shooting the music video?
INJUN: While filming the music video for “Your Echo” we also did a jacket shoot at the same time. I used soap bubbles and balloons as props and I had a blast filming with it. While playing with the soap bubbles, I felt like I went back to my childhood heart because it’s been so long since I enjoyed playing with them.
JAY: It was my first time filming in an open meadow. Even though it felt so unfamiliar, it was so fun and enjoyable for me.
KYLE: I really enjoyed filming on the beach with the members while waving around sparklers.

Q3. Starting with Taiwan on October 13th, the 2024 ASC2NT Expecting Tomorrow FAN-CON will also be held in Vancouver on November 8th, Montreal on November 10th, and Halifax on December 12th. The boys must be very excited and looking forward to it since it’s an in-person meeting with fans. What are you especially worried about or excited about while preparing for the overseas fan meeting?
JAY: I’m so excited and happy to meet fans from afar. At the same time, I’m also nervous because it’s a challenge to appear on a new stage.
REON: I’m very excited to meet our overseas EPPY. I’m looking forward to it even more because the members of ASC2NT all worked really hard to prepare and put on a great performance for EPPY!
KYLE: I’m so excited and looking forward to hosting the ASC2NT EXPECTING TOMORROW FAN-CON overseas. But I’m also worried if I can do well on a new stage and in a new environment. Nevertheless, the members of ASC2NT are always working hard to repay the support and love EPPY have given us!
There you have it. ASC2NT wasted no time in achieving their goals this year. While some newly debuted groups may struggle to stay afloat, it seems that ASC2NT of no intentions of backing out and staying on top of the competition.
