Love in the Big City tells the story of Jae Hee (Kim Go Eun), a free-spirited soul who doesn’t hold back, and Heung Soo (Noh Sang Hyun), who’s more accustomed to keeping the world at arm’s length. The film explores their unique relationship as they navigate life and love together, promising a fresh and engaging narrative.

Having captivated audiences with her relatable performances in Little Women and Yumi’s Cells, and showcasing her versatility in the box office hit Exhuma, Kim Go Eun continues to expand her acting repertoire. In Love in the Big City, she returns as Jae Hee, a character who lives unapologetically for the present and is fiercely genuine in matters of the heart. Her dynamic with Noh Sang Hyun, who plays a man that shares her lifestyle but not her views on romance, is expected to deliver a refreshing on-screen chemistry.

Director Lee Eun Hee, who helms the project, noted, “Once you watch the film, you’ll understand why Kim Go Eun was the perfect choice for the role.” This sentiment is echoed by the author of the original novel of the same name, Park Sang Young, who shared, “I was thrilled to hear about Kim Go Eun’s casting. It felt like Jae Hee had found her perfect match, an actress who could truly embody her essence.”

Already garnering attention with its official invitation to the Toronto International Film Festival, Love in the Big City, will hit the theaters on October 2nd.
