In the upcoming episode of JTBC’s weekend drama The Atypical Family teases a heartwarming reunion between Bok Gwi Joo (Jang Ki Yong) and Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee). As they find happiness again, viewers are left wondering if they can change their fate and secure a happy ending.
In the previous episode, the choices made by Bok Gwi Joo and Do Da Hae left viewers in emotional turmoil. The death of Do Da Hae during a moment of happiness plunged Bok Gwi Joo into despair, reminiscent of an event seven years prior. However, when he discovered that Do Da Hae’s death was her final con to save him, he found her. Their tearful kiss, choosing each other despite an unchangeable fate, was heart-wrenching.
The newly released photos show Bok Gwi Joo and Do Da Hae regaining their happiness after reuniting. Do Da Hae is seen nestled in Bok Gwi Joo’s arms, their gazes locked, raising the heartbeats of viewers. Bok Gwi Joo, who chose Do Da Hae, knowing he might die, and Do Da Hae, who is willing to disappear if it means stopping his death, have viewers on the edge of their seats, wondering if they can indeed alter their future.
The episode also showcases a dance performance by Bok Gi Na (Park So Yi), with Bok Gwi Joo and Do Da Hae cheering her on as enthusiastic fans. Bok Gi Na, exuding confidence on stage without her thick glasses, brings pride and joy to the two. The image of Bok Gwi Joo, teary-eyed with a “Best Daughter” headband and a heart-shaped light stick, adds a touch of humor.
The Bok family, gathered around the dinner table, presents a picture of harmony and warmth. Bok Gwi Joo’s bright smile as he serves a meal filled with memories catches the eye. Bok Dong Hee’s (Soo Hyun aka Claudia Kim) joyful reaction to the food brings a smile to viewers’ faces.
