Drama Ranking for 2nd Week of April

tvN’s drama Queen of Tears continues its reign at the top for the sixth consecutive week, capturing audiences with the looming question of whether Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun’s characters will achieve a happy ending as the series approaches its finale. The show’s ratings have been consistently rising, making it the second most-watched tvN drama of all time. Debuting in second place, Lovely Runner recorded the highest initial viewer response of any TV drama aired within the last year. Viewers are particularly drawn to the chemistry between Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok, and the narrative’s blend of freshness and poignancy. While Netflix’s Parasite: The Grey has seen a spike in buzz, it fell to third in the rankings. MBC’s Wonderful World concluded its run in fourth place, and Disney Plus’s new entry Blood Free started in fifth. Despite the high-profile combination of Stranger writer Lee Soo Yeon and stars Han Hyo Joo and Ju Ji Hoon, Blood Free has received mixed reviews. Other rankings include SBS’s The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection in sixth place and MBC’s Chief Detective 1958 impressively climbing to ninth place before its official release. MBN’s Missing Crown Prince, starring EXO’s Suho debuted at tenth.
