Park Seo Joon, Jung Yu Mi, and Choi Woo Shik are poised to grace our screens once more in the eagerly anticipated second season of tvN’s variety show Jinny’s Kitchen. The trio, who have previously captivated audiences with their undeniable chemistry and charm, are in talks to reunite.
Jinny’s Kitchen, the spin-off Youn’s Kitchen, is the new food variety show where Lee Seo Jin, who acted as the director in “Youn’s Kitchen,” got promoted to the boss of the new restaurant. Joining the stellar cast were Jung Yu Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and BTS’s V, making headlines globally. Despite the initial mixed reviews, the show managed to capture audiences’ hearts, achieving a respectable viewership rating during its run from February to May last year.
The production team is now set to head to Iceland in March for Season 2’s filming, with the cast facing the task of adjusting their packed schedules to make it work. Park Seo Joon has commercial shoots lined up for early to mid-March, Jung Yu Mi, even with no projects lined up currently, needs to coordinate her advertising and photoshoot schedules, and Choi Woo Shik is preparing for the first shoot of his new drama Romance Movie (literal title) at the end of March.
A source close to the production shared with Starnews, “The cast has already agreed in principle to join ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ Season 2. However, given the show’s format that requires staying overseas for about two weeks, it requires adjusting actors’ schedules, which is quite tough given their busy timetables.”
Unfortunately, V, who joined as the youngest intern in Season 1, will be unable to participate in the upcoming season due to his military enlistment.
