The South Korean investigative journalism program Curious Story Y is currently pursuing a high-profile investigation into allegations surrounding the older brother of a famous celebrity.
On April 18th, the program issued a public call for information regarding the individual, though the post was unexpectedly deleted by the following afternoon. Representatives from the show later clarified to Xports News that the request for information was removed following internal discussions, yet they emphasized that the investigation remains active and ongoing.

The subject of the investigation, identified as Mr. A, is currently facing serious allegations of sexual assault involving a female internet broadcast jockey, referred to as Ms. C. Reports indicate that Mr. A allegedly took Ms. C to his home and assaulted her after purchasing a private dinner date with her.

The situation escalated further when Mr. A’s wife, Ms. B, went public with evidence of severe domestic violence. She shared distressing photographs of her injuries and claimed she had been subjected to physical assault, verbal abuse and waterboarding at the hands of her husband.
Public attention has recently shifted toward the family of BLACKPINK member Jisoo, specifically her older brother, Kim Jung Hoon. On April 17th, various online communities began circulating posts that identified Kim Jung Hoon as the individual involved in the scandal, sharing his background and photos from family events. Kim is known to the public as the CEO of BLISSOO, a one-person agency he co-founded to manage Jisoo’s solo activities after she left YG Entertainment.
The allegations against Kim Jung Hoon have expanded to include claims of intimidation and the threatened distribution of private photos. The victim, Ms. C, reported receiving threatening messages from an anonymous account while Kim was in police custody. These messages included her personal photos and mocking comments about the potential heartbreak her parents would suffer. The victim believes Kim conspired with an acquaintance to send these threats from a foreign account to evade detection. Medical records and messages to her manager detail the victim’s extreme psychological distress, including a desperate plea for help she sent while hiding in a bathroom during the initial incident.
Despite the gravity of these accusations, Jisoo’s older sister, Kim Ji Yoon, drew significant public backlash for posting promotional content on social media during the height of the controversy.

Netizens reacted to Jisoo’s sister’s recent Instagram post with various comments, including: “It’s pathetic to post an ad when your brother’s scandal just broke,” “He’s the oldest, and she’s the second child. While some siblings might discipline their brothers, these two seem to live in a perfect world, even when their blood relative commits a crime”, “The brother’s article broke two days ago, and his identity was revealed yesterday, yet she posted an ad today lol,” “Jisoo is said to be the type who doesn’t care what others say and doesn’t get stressed” and “The criminal brother and the clueless sister promoting now… They’re all useless to Jisoo, poor thing. Ah… reading below, they’re a package deal, so never mind the pity.” The post has since been deleted.
Amidst this social media firestorm, the legal proceedings took a turn when the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office rejected an arrest warrant for Kim on April 17th. The prosecution cited insufficient evidence to establish the charges at this stage, leading to his release despite the ongoing police investigation.
