Song Joong Ki and his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, are drawing attention after making their first official public appearance together.
The couple attended the Gaon Soloists’ 7th regular concert, Kindeszenen, held on April 18th at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center. It marked the first time the two stepped out together as a married couple at an official event.
They weren’t the only familiar faces in attendance. Musical actress Kim So Hyun and broadcaster Jang Sung Kyu were also present, adding to the star-studded atmosphere.
But it was Katy Louise Saunders who quickly became the center of attention. As photos from the event surfaced, her in-person presence sparked buzz among attendees and fans alike.
Kim So Hyun later shared her thoughts on Instagram, writing, “It was so nice seeing Song Joong Ki again, and Katy is so kind and beautiful.” In one of the photos, Kim is seen covering her mouth in amazement while looking at Katy—a candid, unfiltered reaction.
Jang Sung Kyu also praised the couple, noting how impressive they were even while contributing narration to the event.
In group photos, Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders blended naturally into the crowd, standing slightly back out of consideration for the performers. Still, their striking visuals didn’t go unnoticed.
The Gaon Soloists is a chamber ensemble that brings together musicians with and without disabilities, using classical music to deliver meaningful messages through inclusive performances.
Song Joong Ki married Katy Louise Saunders in 2023, and the couple now share a son and a daughter.
