The leaked chat, which allegedly features Han Seo Hee inviting Ahn Hyo Seop to a luxury hotel in Gangnam for a night together, has caught the attention of fans and critics alike, fueling widespread speculation and debate. Adding to the speculation, one online community user noted that Han Seo Hee posted photos at the Josun Palace, the same location mentioned in her messages to Ahn Hyo Seop, suggesting the authenticity of the KakaoTalk conversation.

However, the origin of the captured images and the veracity of the conversation remain unconfirmed, but the provocative nature of the dialogue has caused the situation to escalate rapidly.

Amidst the controversy, some speculated that Han Seo Hee herself might have leaked the chat. In response to these allegations, Han Seo Hee firmly denied any involvement, stating that the conversation was a “fabrication” and turned her recently created new social media account private.

Given the public’s penchant for sensational stories, the mere association with Han Seo Hee’s name has a considerable impact. For celebrities whose careers are built on their public image, such allegations, whether true or not, can be deeply distressing.

Meanwhile, Han Seo Hee, a former idol trainee, gained notoriety in October 2016 when she was indicted for smoking marijuana four times with former BIGBANG member T.O.P. In the following year, she received a three-year suspended sentence with four years of probation. During her probation in 2020, she was again brought to trial for methamphetamine use, for which she received a six-month prison sentence. She served her time and was released in November last year.
