The entertainment industry has come together to remember the late Moon Bin on what would have been his birthday. Celebrities took to social media on the 26th to share their tributes, with SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, GFRIEND’s SinB and Umji posting a photo of a cake on their Instagram. The cake featured a group photo of the “98s,” including Seungkwan, SinB, Umji, Lee Suji, Ung Jae, and Moon Bin.
Umji shared a heartfelt message, saying, “We’re 27 now. Let’s keep growing older together. Happy birthday, Bin, I miss you a lot! And I hope it’s less cold on your next birthday.”
SEVENTEEN’s Woozi released an unreleased song, “What kind of future,” a track that Moonbin had always wanted to hear as a recording. Woozi had promised last year, after Moon Bin’s passing, “You kept asking me when I would release ‘What kind of future.’ I’ll make sure to bring it to you for your birthday, even if I have to fight with the label.”

ASTRO members Cha Eun Woo, MJ, and Jinjin also celebrated their late teammate’s birthday. MJ and Jinjin shared photos taken with Moonbin, while Cha Eun Woo posted a cover video of “Love Is Gone” on his official YouTube channel.
Cha Eun Woo wrote, “I want to wish you a happy birthday just like always. I’m sure you’re watching from somewhere, right? Happy birthday, my friend.” He added, “Whenever I miss you, I work harder, and even when it gets tough, I focus and prepare for dramas and albums. Make sure to watch them when they’re out.”
“This song has been a comfort when I think of you. I stumbled upon it, and it reminded me of you. You know how any song I listen to while walking down the street seems to be about you, me, us?” he finished off his heartfelt message, “I always miss you, and I’m thankful and love you, my friend Bin.”
