Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin are teaming up as a longtime couple in the upcoming KBS drama Not You, Another Love (literal title)
Set to premiere in the second half of 2026, the series follows a couple who have been together for ten years as they begin to face unfamiliar emotions in a relationship that once felt completely certain. As the initial spark fades, loyalty and trust take its place, leaving the pair caught between breaking up and taking the next step toward marriage.
Seo Kang Joon plays Namgung Ho, a warm and charismatic assistant manager at Hunmin Confectionery. He seems carefree on the surface, but his life has been shaped by years of hardship caused by his trouble-prone mother. Through it all, his girlfriend Lee Mi Do has remained by his side.
Fans have long hoped to see Seo Kang Joon return to a full-fledged romantic role, and the actor is expected to showcase a wide emotional range as he portrays the highs and lows of a man deeply affected by love.
Ahn Eun Jin plays Lee Mi Do, a once-promising film director who gained international attention with her college graduation film. But after repeated setbacks and stalled projects, she finds herself at the lowest point in her career.
Ahn Eun Jin is expected to portray Mi Do’s inner conflict as she finds herself torn between the comfort of a long relationship and the unexpected emotions that begin to surface.
As the story unfolds, the couple finds themselves questioning the relationship they once took for granted. Their deep familiarity becomes the very thing that begins to shake their bond, forcing them to confront whether their future together leads to marriage or separation.
The production team said, “Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin have a unique ability to convey emotional authenticity that naturally pulls viewers into the story. Because this drama deals with such a realistic love story, we feel even more confident with these two actors at the center.”
Directed by The Matchmakers helmer Hwang Seung Ki and written by newcomer Yoo Soo Ji, Not You, Another Love will air in the second half of 2026 and stream globally on Amazon Prime Video.
