Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee are set to deliver a powerful synergy in the Netflix original series Gyeongseong Creature.
On the 15th, Netflix released new stills for the series. Set in the spring of 1945, during one of the darkest times in history, Gyeongseong Creature tells the story of two youths fighting against a monster born out of greed.

In the series, Park Seo Joon portrays Jang Tae Sang, the owner of Gyeongseong’s best pawnshop, Geumokdang, and the top informant in the area. Tae Sang, with his handsome looks and skilled diplomacy, holds all essential information in Bonjeong street, from money and goods to even lives. Park Seo Joon, in the released photos, perfectly embodies Tae Sang with his neatly combed hair, well-tailored suit, and confident gaze, heightening expectations.
Han So Hee plays Yoon Chae Ok, a renowned todukkun (a term used to refer to people who find missing people) known for finding even the dead. Chae Ok, seeking clues about her missing mother, moves from Manchuria to Gyeongseong with her father and meets Tae Sang.
Additionally, the cast is enriched by the likes of Suhyun, Kim Hae Sook, Cho Han Chul, and Wi Ha Jun. Suhyun takes on the role of Yukiko Maeda, a Japanese noble lady who commands the Gyeongseong area. Kim Hae Sook plays the housekeeper of Gumokdang, Na Wol, bringing depth to the series with her seasoned acting. Na Wol is a family-like figure to Tae Sang and a reliable support of the store when he’s away.
Cho Han Chul plays Chae Ok’s father and todukkun Yoon Jung Won, who joins hands with Tae Sang to find clues about his missing wife and infiltrate the mysterious Ongseong Hospital. Wi Ha Jun plays Jang Tae Sang’s friend and independence fighter Kwon Jun Taek. Jun Taek, able to access the exclusive Ongseong Hospital, is ashamed of his pro-Japanese father and secretly participates in the independence movement.
Meanwhile, Gyeongseong Creature Part 1 is set to release on December 22nd, and Part 2 will be available on January 5th, 2024.
