Kim Woo Bin personally traveled to Busan to pay respects to a fan who passed away.
On the 27th, Kim Woo Bin posted a photograph of an old letter he had received from the fan, along with a caption that read, “Cheerful and bright OO [the fan’s name]. Only now did I realize how long and arduous the journey was, going to give you my final farewell on the path you’ve always taken to see me.”
His heartfelt words continued: “Your smile as you ask how I was doing just a while ago keeps popping into my mind, and it breaks my heart.” He added, “I won’t think of this as a goodbye. There, may you have only days filled with smiles, health, and happiness. And when we meet again, let’s take lots of pictures and share our stories.”
Taking it a step further, the actor also promised, “I’ll work even harder on the new projects you were really looking forward to, with you in my thoughts. Keep an eye out for me. I’m truly grateful for you being my fan, really and truly. Let’s definitely meet again.”

On the other side, the late fan’s family has revealed that not only did Kim Woo Bin send a flower wreath to the funeral, but he also made an effort to attend in person.
The fan’s sister left a comment in his post, saying, “The wreath you sent was already such a huge support for us, but your visit has been an incredible comfort to our family. My mom, dad, and even my younger sibling, we’ve all gained so much strength from your gesture. My sister got to see you, the person she adored every single day, on her last journey; she can now truly fly freely.”
She also added, “Thank you so much for taking the time to come all this way and send my sister off. I wish you continued health and success in all your future projects. We’re truly, deeply grateful that you were a part of my sister’s last moments.”
