Lee Jung Hyun has snapped up a hospital building for KRW 194 billion (approx. USD 166 million), and we’ve taken a look at other stars who have succeeded in real estate investments that make your jaw drop.

On the 17th, The Korea Economic Daily reported that Lee Jung Hyun and her husband purchased a hospital building near Incheon City Hall Station this May for KRW 194 billion. The main building spans from one basement floor to eight above-ground floors, and the annex from one basement floor to five above-ground floors, with a total area of 1800 square meters, housing 81 beds. The loan amount for the building is KRW 162 billion (approx. USD 136 million), and Lee Jung Hyun owns 99%, with her husband, Mr. Park, owning 1%, making her the real owner.

Suzy also boasts a real estate holding worth KRW 138 billion (approx. USD 118 million). The actress purchased a luxury villa in Nonhyeon-dong in 2017 for KRW 30.9 billion, featuring 277 square meter, four rooms, three bathrooms, and one dressing room. Furthermore, Suzy acquired a building in Seoul’s Gangnam District for KRW 37 billion in 2016. Of this amount, KRW 17 billion was financed, and KRW 20 billion was paid in cash. The building is now valued at approximately KRW 80 billion. At the time, it was reported that Suzy was earning a monthly income of KRW 15 million from rentals.

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA drew attention by purchasing a building in Gangnam District for KRW 100 billion (approx. USD 85.6 million). Her building, a newly constructed structure from 2014, spanning two basement floors to four above-ground floors, is situated in a top-priority investment area known to sell instantly, stirring up conversation.

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri also made headlines by purchasing a five-story building in Seoul’s Gangnam District for KRW 128 billion (approx. USD 109.6 million), with recent full remodeling adding to its splendor.

Ha Ji Won, in March 2020, acquired a building in Seongsu-dong for KRW 100 billion (approx. USD 85.6 million) under her company, HAEWADAL Entertainment, and recently hosted a personal exhibition in the building.

KARA’s Han Seung Yeon grabbed the spotlight by buying a building in Seoul’s Gangnam District, Cheongdam-dong, for KRW 45 billion (approx. USD 38.5 million) in 2014. The building’s estimated value is KRW 150 billion, with a monthly rent of KRW 20 million, sparking discussion. Additionally, she jointly purchased a single-family house in Gangnam District, Samsung-dong, with her mother in 2017, currently valued at approximately KRW 160 billion.
