JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama Doctor Cha ended on a high note.

However, some viewers expressed disappointment with the show’s ending as the main character did not end up with her potential love interest, and her cheating husband was left unpunished.

Viewers were disappointed to see Seo In Ho (played by Kim Byung Chul) and Choi Seung Hee (Myung Se Bin) finding happiness without facing any consequences for their secret affairs. In the end, In Ho became the head of Gusan University Hospital, and Seung Hee opened her private clinic. While this may reflect real-life outcomes, viewers expressed that they had hoped for a more cathartic ending in a drama.

Some viewers voiced their discontent with the ending, stating, “The ending is not quite the one I expected, considering what Seo In Ho and Choi Seung Hee did to Jung Sook,” “Hope they’re not romanticizing the affair,” and “They really should have faced the consequences for their actions.”

Many viewers were also disappointed with how the romance between Cha Jung Sook (Uhm Jung Hwa) and Roy Kim (Min Woo Hyuk) was handled. Despite the hopes of seeing them find happiness together, their relationship never progressed beyond friendship. Roy Kim’s declaration of offering a liver transplant showed his deep feelings for Jung Sook, but he eventually started dating someone else without making another attempt to express his love for her.
