Weekly TV Top10: Ahn Hyo Seop’s Stellar Performance Propels ‘Dr. Romantic 3’ to No. 1

Drama Ranking for the 4th Week of May

SBS’s hit series Dr. Romantic 3 once again seized the top spot on the charts, largely thanks to an intense building collapse episode, which featured Ahn Hyo Seop’s outstanding performance, and the actor himself clinched the first place in cast rankings. JTBC’s Doctor Cha, on the other hand, slid to the second position, hampered by a dragging plot. The show’s stars – Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Byung Chul, and Myung Se Bin – also fell in the rankings compared to the previous week. Maintaining third and fourth places were tvN’s Tale of Nine Tailed 1938 and JTBC’s The Good Bad Mother respectively. Tale of Nine Tailed 1938 piqued viewer interest with a dramatic plot twist where Ryu Kyung Soo betrays Lee Dong Wook. Similarly, The Good Bad Mother drew attention as Lee Do Hyun’s long-plotted revenge is revealed, setting up an intriguing narrative for upcoming episodes. Despite initial buzz surrounding the reunion of Jang Na Ra and Jang Hyuk in tvN’s Family, the show failed to create a significant impact and dropped to seventh place. The eagerly awaited return of Lee Na Young to the small screen in One Day Off made a modest debut at No. 10. Surprisingly, JTBC’s upcoming show King the Land broke into the ninth place, spurred by viewer excitement over its teaser trailers and behind-the-scenes footage.
