Kidari Studio has confirmed the release date and unveiled the first teaser poster for their new BL drama, Happy Merry Ending, based on the webtoon of the same name.
The series follows the story of Seung Jun, a wedding singer, and Jae Hyun, a wedding pianist, who find comfort in each other as they heal from their painful pasts. Along the way, they become intertwined like a beautiful melody.
KNK’s Lee Dong Won will play Seung Jun, who works as a wedding singer as well as a vocal trainer. Although he has an inborn talent in composition and music, he becomes extremely defensive in all matters after going through a traumatic event in the past.
Seong Tae will star as a wedding piano accompanist as well as the owner of a cafe. One day, he encounters a man who is totally opposite from him at a wedding hall where he was working part-time as an accompanist.
Rookie actor Shin Myoung Sung will appear as a surfing instructor named Ho Yeon. Although he may seem cold on the outside, Ho Yeon is actually very caring friend of Seung Jun, who is struggling with his painful past.
Playing the role of Ju Won, the CEO of an agency and Seung Jun’s former lover, SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong portrays a character who once broke Seung Jun’s heart.
The newly released poster shares a glimpse of Seung Jun and Jae Hyun exchanging a hesitant gaze.
Happy Merry Ending is an 8-part series and will premiere on April 27th.
