Until not long ago, Yoo Ah In was believed to be one of the best actors (or probably the best) in their 30s. However, now that he tested positive for three drugs, propofol, marijuana, and a third unknown drug, the big question now is this – will he ever be able to make it back to the screens?
So far, it’s been revealed that Yoo Ah In habitually administered propofol a whopping 73 times. Ha Jung Woo, who was punished by the law for habitual use of propofol several years ago, took it 19 times. Wheesung was also investigated for taking propofol 12 times over a period of three months. This means that despite his habitual use of propofol, he smoked pot and one more drug.
As everyone knows, the actor has been working a busy schedule, filming commercials and multiple projects. In fact, he’s already finished filming the movies Hi.5 and The Match and the new Netflix series Good Bye Earth. Adding Netflix’s Hellbound 2, which will begin filming soon, to the list, the number of people who’d be screwed by the news of Yoo Ah In’s drug usage is staggeringly high.
Wheesung made his comeback just a few months later, hosting concerts and singing OSTs, and Ha Jung Woo returned after a year through Netflix’s Nacro-Saints and now, he’s starring in TVING show Bros on Foot. And some actors who were charged with smoking marijuana had successfully made it back to the screens. However, Yoo Ah In “struck out” by testing positive for three drugs. Will he also be added to that list?
It’s just a little strange that the actor who loves sharing his opinions via social media hasn’t said a single word about the ongoing scandal.
