IU showed her loyalty to Chae Dong Hyun by singing at his wedding.
Recently, the singer’s surprise appearance at Chae Dong Hyun’s wedding drew attention online after guests shared about it on social media. One guest wrote, “IU is singing…? This is crazy. She’s so pretty.”
IU is known to attend her acquaintances’ weddings to celebrate their blissful days despite her busy schedule. In 2019, she sang at the wedding of her best friend Yoo In Na’s manager, and last year, she was also spotted singing at her boyfriend Lee Jong Suk’s sister’s wedding – though at the time, their relationship wasn’t known to the public. And most recently, she sang at T-ara’s Jiyeon and baseball player Hwang Jaegyun’s wedding.
IU and Chae Dong Hyun appeared in the 2018 hit series My Mister together. In the drama, IU once slapped Chae Dong Hyun, who played Asst Manager Kim.
Meanwhile, IU and Lee Jong Suk admitted to being in a relationship after Lee Jong Suk thanked “someone special” in his acceptance speech.
