Jang Dong Yoon transformed into a tanned country boy in the new drama Oasis.
KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Oasis is set in a period in the 1980s and 1990s, the turbulent stage of Korean history. The story centers around the three youths who throw themselves to protect their dreams, friendships, and their first love that only happens once in a lifetime.
On Monday, the production team dropped still photos of Jang Dong Yoon, who stepped into the role of Lee Doo Hak.
The actor’s short hairstyle and tanned skin catch the eyes. The expression on his face gives a glimpse into his upright and tough character. Doo Hak finds himself standing at the crossroads of fate with his brother-like friend Choi Cheol Woong (Choo Young Woo) and Oh Jung Shin (Seol In Ah), the girl he falls in love with at first sight. What events shake up his life and what fate awaits him?
The Oasis production team heightened expectations, saying, “You’ll discover a new side of Jang Dong Yoon that you haven’t seen before. Please look forward to the charms of Lee Doo Hak, who tells more stories with his eyes than any words or actions.”
Meanwhile, Oasis will premiere on March 6th at 9:50 PM KST.
