Seohyun will be taking part in the new SF movie Finding the King (literal title).
On the 8th, a media outlet reported that Seohyun recently joined the production of Finding the King and started filming. Finding the King begins when something mysterious and giant visits a remote village in the demilitarized zone in the summer of 1980.
The project gained attention from early on as the first SF genre by Director Won Shin Yeon, who helmed Memoir of a Murderer and The Battle: Roar to Victory. Koo Kyo Hwan is in talks for the role of the doctor who got dispatched to the village in the DMA, and Yoo Jae Myung plays a villager with a sense of justice.
Seohyun will be challenging her first SF project and takes on the role of the only nurse in the village.
On the 3rd, Koo Kyon Hwan, Yoo Jae Myung, and Seohyun had their first table read for Finding the King.
Meanwhile, a co-production company and the main investor of Finding the King is WYSIWYG Studios, which participated in VFX of The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion. The filming will begin in the first half of this year and be released next year.
