Drama Ranking for 4th Week of December
JTBC’s Reborn Rich had its grand finale, ranking first for six weeks in a row. Song Joong Ki also took the top spot in the cast rankings for the same period. The show made headlines throughout the broadcast, but the ending – Yoon Hyun Woo’s life as Jin Do Jun was merely a dream – left the viewers in chaos. Though the writer came heavily under fire, the actors’ performances were highly praised. tvN’s Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow came in second for the third week. The affectionate narrative of Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook) and Jin Bu Yeon (Go Youn Jung) continue to receive favorable reviews. JTBC’s new series The Interest of Love debuted at No. 3. The opinion is that the delicate and realistic story and director and Moon Ga Young and Yoo Yeon Seok’s chemistry are making the show even more immersive. Missing: The Other Side, which went from OCN to tvN for season 2, started off in fourth place. Questions about the new characters have led to expectations for the new season. SBS’s new show Trolley debuted at No. 5. A negative response has surfaced that the incident that happened to the main characters is reminiscent of a story of a member of the National Assembly who left the people furious. TV Chosun’s Red Balloon, starring Seo Ji Hye, ranked 9th, entering the top 10 for the first time. SBS’s The First Responders fell to 10th place, only broadcasting one episode a week.
