All the Butlers Season 2 will be airing without Lee Seung Gi.

On November 29th, Spotify News reported that Lee Seung Gi will not be appearing on SBS’ All the Butlers Season 2.

The variety show will begin its filming in mid-December for a new season. All regular members will be returning to Season 2, but Lee Seung Gi will not be joining the show, reportedly after having a long discussion with the production team.

The actor seems to have made such a decision due to the upcoming movie Big Family (literal title) and the ongoing dispute he is having with his agency Hook Entertainment, regarding his unreceived music profits.

The news came as a surprise to many fans, as Lee Seung Gi reportedly didn’t get paid for his music for over 18 years.

Hook Entertainment denied the initial reports and said that the payments were made properly, but the actor’s legal team released an additional statement to refute their claims. “The agency deliberately hid the earnings he generated and made derogatory remarks to him, calling him a ‘minus singer’ who cannot recoup the cost that went in for his music production. Lee Seung Gi determined that having further conversations with Hook Entertainment is meaningless,” the statement read.
