Kang So Ra and Jang Seung Jo are coming back to the small screen with Can We Be Strangers? (literal title).
On the 18th, Genie TV announced the January release of its new original series Can We Be Strangers? This new drama tells the stories of the love and growth of divorce lawyers, to whom divorce is easy but breaking up is hard.
Kang So Ra steps into the role of the star divorce lawyer Oh Ha Ra, nicknamed the goddess of lawsuits. Jang Seung Jo plays Gu Eun Bum, Ha Ra’s ex-husband and colleague.
One thing to note is that this will be Kang So Ra’s official comeback project. The actress had a two-year hiatus after getting married and having a child.
Can We Be Strangers? is helmed by Our Blues co-director Kim Yang Hee. She’ll deliver the work and love of the people in their 30s and 40s against the backdrop of a divorce law firm.
Meanwhile, this upcoming drama will be released on Genie TV and Korean OTT platform in January next year. It will also be aired on ENA.
