The Roundup has halted all promotional activities in Japan in order to commemorate the Itaewon disaster victims.
On October 31st, the production team made an announcement on its official Japanese website. They stated, “We are canceling the stage greetings for The Roundup, which was scheduled for November 3rd.” They continued, “From October 31st to November 5th, the whole nation will be mourning the victims of the Seoul surge crush. After much discussion with the distribution company, Ma Dong Seok will not be visiting Japan. We have decided to cancel all the stage greetings scheduled for November 3rd.”

They added, “We are very sorry for causing a great inconvenience to many fans who have been waiting for the events. Refunds will be processed on the purchased tickets. We extend our condolences to those who lost their lives and pray for all those affected.”
Ma Dong Seok is set to release his upcoming movie, Men of Plastic. The press conference for the new movie, which was scheduled for October 31st, has been also canceled to express condolences for the loss.
