Netflix confirmed the release of Gyeongseong Creature, starring Park Seo Jun and Han So Hee.
Gyeongseong Creature is set in 1945 in the city of Gyeongseong and follows young individuals going up against monstrous creatures that were born out of human greed. Stove League producer Jung Dong Yoon and screenwriter Kang Eun Kyung behind Dr. Romantic and Gu Family Book helmed the series.
Park Seo Jun will take on the role of Jang Tae Sang, the head of merchant marketplace Golden Jade House who is the wealthiest and most well-connected person in Gyeongseong. Although he puts money before justice, he begins to change after encountering Yoon Chae Ok while investigating a series of missing person cases.
Han So Hee will play the role of Yoon Chae Ok, a bounty hunter who can track down missing people even those who are dead. She has developed sharp eyes and keen senses working as a bounty hunter with her father across Manchuria and Shanghai since childhood.
Soo Hyun will star as Maeda, the matriarch of a family that rules the Gyeongseong area. With her perfect poker face, she is expected to heighten the tension in the series as she gets involved in the missing person case. Kim Hae Sook will play Nawol Daek, the butler of the Golden Jade House who helps Jang Tae Sang in every step.
Jo Han Chul will appear as Yoon Chae Ok’s father, Yoon Joong Won. He has been investigating the serial missing case to find his wife who disappeared ten years ago. Wi Ha Jun will star as Jang Tae Sang’s best friend named Kwon Jun Taek who is a member of the independence army. He becomes part of Jang Tae Sang’s dangerous journey to find his missing co-worker.
