On September 12th, Lee Jong Suk had an in-person fan meet for the first time in four years. Many fans swooned over how sweet he was at the event.
Reports say that the actor personally greeted 500 fans by handing out light sticks and briefly shaking hands with them. His greeting did not end there as each fan was given special merchandise as they were seated. Normally fan merchandise is for sale, but the actor reportedly decided to hand them out for free.
The event was full of surprises as Lee Jong Suk talked bout the story behind his ongoing dramaBig Mouse, threw a special performance and recited the letter he wrote for fans. In the letter, he wrote, “I spent lots of time thinking about what else is there that I could offer to you guys while preparing for this event. I hope that my sincerity has come through and reached you. Thank you so much for coming to meet me today. I wanted to tell you so badly that I missed you so much,” expressing his gratitude for fans.
The event lasted almost three hours, and he showed his endless love by shaking hands with each and one of them as they leave the venue.
After the event, fans flocked to social media to write about how wonderful the event was. One user reacted, “That is crazy. They must be over the moon right now,” and others chimed in, stating, “He planned the event not to make profits but to communicate with fans,” and “I have never seen a celebrity like him in my life.”
