Kim Go Eun will make another shocking transformation in the upcoming series Little Women.

tvN’s new drama Little Women tells the story of three sisters who grew up in poverty going up against the richest and most powerful family in Korea. The show will provide exhilarating fun by depicting the process of three sisters trying to solve life’s homework called “money.” It comes from Vincenzo director Kim Hee Won and Decision to Leave screenwriter Jung Seo Kyung.

In the drama, Kim Go Eun plays Oh In Ju, a woman who wants to protect her family with money and shows perfect sister chemistry with Nam Ji Hyun and Park Ji Hu.

Oh In Ju became a bookkeeper because she likes money. Growing up in poverty, she realized early on that money was the only thing that could protect people. The still photos the production team released capture Oh In Ju’s bitter expression and how she’s hesitating around her coworkers, giving a glimpse into Oh In Ju’s loneliness within her work. The teaser showed Oh In Ju being forced to make a choice after somehow ending up with 70 billion KRW (about $53 million). Will she be able to protect her family with the money?

“As soon as I got the script, I finished it on the spot,” Kim Go Eun shared. “I’m glad to be able to work with good people and be a part of a good team.” She also introduced the character Oh In Ju. “Oh In Ju is someone who really loves her family,” she said. “She lives this world in her own way – loving, expressing, and doing her best on her own terms. I think she sees that as the reason she lives in this world and her own value. She’s as transparent as a glass bead. She’s complex and three-dimensional, so I had to think from various directions.”

Meanwhile, Little Women will premiere on September 3rd at 9:10 PM KST.
