Moon Chae Won will star in the new legal drama The Code of Law (literal title).
According to media outlets, Moon Chae Won was cast in the new drama The Code of Law alongside Parasite actor Lee Sun Kyun.
The Code of Law is a revenge drama about Eun Young, a man with a mercenary spirit, and his team fighting against the “cartel of money” that’s colluding with the legal circles.
It comes from director Lee Won Tae, whose credits include The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil and Man of Will. The filming will begin in July.
Earlier, Lee Sun Kyun stepped into the role of Eun Young. After emerging as a global star with Parasite, he took the lead role in Apple TV original series Dr. Brain. Currently, he’s waiting for the release of his two new movies, Heaven: To the Land of Happiness �(literal title) and Sleep (literal title). Naturally, his return to the small screen is a hot topic.
Moon Chae Won played Cha Ji Won in the 2020 drama Flower of Evil and became a hot topic for her chemistry with Lee Joon Gi. After moving to a new agency last November, she finished shooting the movie We Grow Up (literal title), the remake of the Argentinian film No Kids. The actress is also in talks to join the new webtoon-based drama Things Have Fallen Off (literal title).
