Drama Ranking for the 1st Week of June
tvN’s Our Blues reclaimed the top spot after five weeks. Praises followed every touching episode with actors’ impressive performances. Also, the news of the publication of non-edited scripts became a hot topic. SBS’s Why Her? showed the best result among all four new dramas that premiered last week. Seo Hyun Jin garnered rave reviews, and the show took second place. tvN’s Eve debuted at No. 3, but the provocative storyline and the excessive sex scene drew out negative reactions. JTBC’s Cleaning Up started off solid at fifth place, but many responded that they couldn’t relate to the main character Eo Yong Mi played by Yum Jung Ah. MBC’s Doctor Lawyer, which made headlines as So Ji Sub’s comeback project, debuted at No. 6. Though the protagonist swearing revenge after being falsely framed is a cliche, viewers showed anticipation for the coming development.
