According to SPOTVNEWS, Yeon Woo Jin will star in the new series Morning Comes to the Mental Ward (literal title). The actor’s agency Jump Entertainment responded, “He received an offer and is reviewing it now.”
Morning Comes to the Mental Ward is a healing drama based on the real experiences of a real nurse. It’s a drama adaptation of the webtoon of the same name. The story centers around nurse Jung Si Na, telling various episodes happening in a psychiatric ward. The show gained attention from early on as All of Us Are Dead director Lee Jae Gyu’s new project.
If Yeon Woo Jin joins the show, he’ll be making his short comeback after JTBC’s Thirty-Nine.
Meanwhile, Morning Comes to the Mental Ward has confirmed the casting of Park Bo Young, Lee Jung Eun, Lee Sang Hee, Im Jae Hyuk, and more.
