Lee Jung Jae revealed still photos of the movie Hunt, in which he acted as both an actor and a director.
On the 11th, Lee Jung Jae took to his Instagram to unveil three still photos of Hunt. The photos show the two lead actors – Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung – looking all serious in different situations. Previously, Jung Woo Sung once said about the movie, “It has a lot of two-shots of us, as you wish.”
Hunt is a spy action drama about Park Pyung Ho and Kim Jung Do, National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents, chasing after a North Korean spy and facing the shocking truth. It’s also the directorial debut film of Lee Jung Jae, who created a global sensation with Squid Game.
Jung Woo Sung plays Kim Jung Do, a partner and a rival of Park Pyung Do, played by Lee Jung Jae. This marks the two actors’ reunion in the same project 22 years after the movie City of the Rising Sun. Besides Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae, the cast includes Jeon Hye Jin, Heo Sung Tae, Go Yoon Jung, and more.
Meanwhile, Hunt was invited to the Cannes Film Festival’s Midnight Screening section. It’s slated for release in the summer of 2022.
