Will BLACKPINK return to the K-pop scene in June?
On Tuesday, Sports Donga reported that singers and actors that have secured a massive fandom are releasing new albums one after another, starting active promotions both at home and aboard. Alongside BTS, Psy, and Lim Young Woong, the news of BLACKPINK’s comeback drew keen attention.
The report quoted an insider, “BLACKPINK plans to drop a new album in June at the earliest.”
Recently, Jennie appeared on the YG Entertainment episode of the tvN show The Game Caterers, heralding the group’s comeback. “BLACKPINK is preparing for our comeback. I don’t know if I should say it, but since I’m here alone, I’ll say it,” she said. “Please show lots of support.”
If BLACKPINK releases a new album in June, it’ll be the act’s comeback a year and eight months after the release of THE ALBUM.
