Will GOT7 return to the K-pop scene?
According to JoyNews24, GOT7 recently confirmed their comeback as a whole group in May. It’s said that the members have almost finished working on the new song.
If this report turns out to be true, this will be the group’s comeback a year and two months after Encore. GOT7 parted ways with JYP Entertainment in January last year.
Since then, the boys have chosen other agencies and labels as their new homes – Jinyoung went to BH Entertainment; Jackson and Youngjae to SUBLIME; BamBam to ABYSS COMPANY; Yugyeom to AMOG; and Mark to CAA.
In February, GOT7 dropped their fan song “Encore,” dismissing the rumors about their disbandment. Afterward, the members focused on their solo careers, but they continued to show support for each other.
