aespa has lit up the main stage of 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

On April 24th, the K-pop stars appeared at Coachella as part of 88rising’s “Heads In The Clouds Forever” and delivered a fierce performance, sending many fans into a frenzy. Starting off with “aenergy,” one of the six tracks in their first mini-album, the K-pop idol group performed their two massive hits “Black Mamba” and “Savage” to the Coachella audience.

The K-pop girl act unveiled their brand new song “Life’s Too Short” and sang it with English lyrics. Unlike their other previous tracks, this new song resonated with their unique brand of sugary sweet pop. Lastly, the female group garnered an explosive reaction with their performance of their smash-hit “Next Level.”

The female group’s performance, which lasted about 20 minutes, received big cheers even though it was their first-ever live performance in 2 years in the United States. Some fans shouted, “I love Winter,” during their performance, and the roar of the cheering crowd was clearly heard on the streamed live concerts.

Hashtags like ‘#aespa’ and ‘#aespa Coachella’ began trending on Twitter. SM Entertainment stated, “We could feel how much love and support the group was receiving from their fans, as we saw many sky banners in the stadium to cheer them on at Coachella.”

aespa members shared, “We’ve never performed in front of such a large crowd. We are so happy to have been invited to perform at this global festival.”
