A drama poster that looks just like the cover of the South Korean TV drama, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?, appeared in China.
It was recently noticed that Chinese Tencent TV’s Once We Get Married shamelessly copied from the original poster of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. In the recently unveiled Chinese drama poster, the navy-colored velvet sofa is positioned in front of the same-colored wall with a bright gray rug on the floor. The two leads are seen sitting on the couch, with the drama’s title inscribed in pink above them.
The poster for What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, which was released four years ago, has Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young sitting side by side with their legs crossed and arms crossed on the navy-colored sofa. The color and material of the rug on the floor are nearly identical to those in the Once We Get Married poster. The poses of the main characters are somewhat different, but the poster layout and color are almost the same.
When South Korean users saw the poster for Once We Get Married, they responded by commenting, “The country of plagiarism” and “It’s not even surprising anymore.”
Chinese netizens also responded negatively by saying, “It’s exactly the same,” “I even thought the sofa and rug were edited and pasted from the original,” “Stop copying,” and “I’m dying of embarrassment.”
