Kim Se Jeong has confirmed her appearance in yet another drama.
According to media outlets, Kim Se Jeong was cast to take the lead in the new SBS drama Today’s Webtoon (literal title). It’s the Korean remake of the Japanese series Sleepeeer Hit!
This new series tells the story of the former judo athlete On Ma Eum, who struggles to become a webtoon editor after quitting judo due to her injuries.
Kim Se Jeong plays On Ma Eum. Beating out many other applicants, she’s the newly hired webtoon editor. She’s a character who overcomes many adversities at work with her positive energy. The actress will realistically portray the struggles of someone who starts her first-ever job. Expectations for her new drama are high as Kim Se Jeong herself has been dubbed the “human vitamin” for her cheerful image since her debut.
Meanwhile, Kim Se Jeong is now playing Shin Ha Ri in the popular drama Business Proposal, which currently is recording the highest viewership rating among all Monday-Tuesday dramas.
