‘Juvenile Justice’ Hits No. 7 on Netflix’s Global Charts

Netflix Korea’s new original series Juvenile Justice is going viral two days after its release, climbing up the global chart on Netflix.

Juvenile Justice ranked No. 7 on the global “TOP 10 on Netflix in the World” chart on Tuesday, according to streaming analytics company FlixPatrol on March 2nd.

The courtroom series debuted at No. 31 on the chart the day after its release on February 25th. Soon after, the series climbed up the chart and reached �No. 9 as of February 28th.

According to FlixPatrol, the series is topping the TOP 10 list in 8 countries, including Korea, Japan, Hongkong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The series is receiving favorable reviews in North America and European countries, landing on No. 7 in Canada and No. 10 in France.

Meanwhile, on March 1st, tvN’s new drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One made it into the streaming platform’s TOP 10 list for the first time. The Netflix series All of Us Are Dead maintained its place on No. 5, remaining as the longest-running hit show.

Juvenile Justice highlights the issue of juvenile delinquency through the perspectives of judges in charge of those cases. The story follows Shim Eun Seok (Kim Hye Soo), a judge assigned to a juvenile court who despises underaged offenders.
