Drama fans are left in shock as Lee Ji Hoon decided not to attend the press conference for his upcoming drama, Sponsor.

IHQ and MBN’s new drama Sponsor is scheduled to hold its press conference on the 23rd. While the list of the attendants included Han Chae Young, Koo Ja Sung, Ji Yi Soo, Kim Jung Tae, and Lee Yoon Mi, Lee Ji Hoon’s name was missing from the list.

On top of that, the drama recently changed the order of its opening and end credits. Although he’s been confirmed to be the lead actor of the series, Lee Ji Hoon’s name appeared in the third roll, after Han Chae Young and Koo Ja Sung.

Rumors got even worse as Victory Contents, the production company behind the series, posted a promotional picture with all its major cast members without the actor.

Fans are wondering why the actor didn’t show up at the show’s promotional events. According to a media outlet on February 16th, the production crew explained, “Lee Ji Hoon cannot participate in the press conference due to personal reasons.”

Last year, Lee Ji Hoon was embroiled in a workplace harassment scandal. Both Lee Ji Hoon and the production team actively refuted the claims of the initial accuser, ‘writer A.’ Later, it was reported that the accuser had apologized to the actor.
