Weekly TV Top10: ‘Bulgasal’ Finishes at No. 1 Despite the Mixed Reviews

Drama Ranking for the 1st Week of February

Though tvN’s Bulgasal: Immortal Souls saw a dip in its popularity, it still managed to finish its journey at the top of the chart. The series has been on a downward trend since the 3rd week of January when episodes 11 and 12 aired, and many showed disappointments over the plot. In particular, the story that unfolded in the final episode also received unfavorable reviews. Young Lady and Gentleman, which came in second, had one episode canceled and a change in its air time for the other episode due to the 2020 Beijing Winter Olympics broadcast, resulting in a decrease in popularity. Still, the story of Ji Hyun Woo and Lee Se Hee facing opposition from their families became a hot topic. SBS’s Through the Darkness came in third. The viewers have shown disappointment over the 3-week cancellation. tvN’s Ghost Doctor landed at No. 4. People have shown their support for Rain and Kim Bum’s flawless transformation into their respective roles. Fifth place went to JTBC’s Artificial City. Soo Ae’s acting prowess has been the subject of rave reviews. Sixth place went to MBC’s Tracer, which finished season 1 and is gearing up for season 2.
