The new girl group with four of the Girls Planet 999 contestants will debut in March.
On the 5th, FCENM confirmed the official debut of Kishida Ririka, Hayase Hana, Chang Ching, and Lee Yun Ji in the girl group they’ll launch in a few months.
This new girl group will be named ILY:1. Later today at 6 PM KST, the agency will open ILY:1’s official social media accounts.
“ILY:1” is a combination of the word “I” and the suffix “-ly,” meaning “like I” or “like myself.” The number “1” represents the individual members with their unique charms binding to complete one group. Additionally, “ILY” is an acronym for I LOVE YOU, representing the members’ love for their fans.
Kishida Ririka, Hayase Hana, Chang Ching, and Lee Yun Ji have shown off their refreshing charms and beauty in Mnet’s Girls Planet 999, which premiered last August. Since the show has gained great love from K-pop fans, expectations for the new girl group are rising rapidly.
