Jung Il Woo to Play His First-Ever Father Role in the New Movie About Family

‘Highway Family’ (literal title), starring Ra Mi Ran, Jung Il Woo, Kim Seul Gi, and Baek Hyun Jin, started filming on the 15th.

Highway Family begins when a homeless family who camps at the highway rest areas meets a couple. The movie will follow the process of them becoming a new family. The story of a family, who is wandering the streets with the hope that they will meet the warmth, affection, compassion, trust, and hope that still exist in this cold reality, getting back on their own feet will remind you of The Florida Project.

Ra Mi Ran, who won the Best Actress Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards with Honest Candidate, joined the movie with empathy for the message within the work. She will play the owner of a second-hand furniture store that longs for her son.

Joining him in the cast is Jung Il Woo, who will challenge his first-ever father role. The role played by the actor is a father of two whose life revolves around his family. �In addition, Kim Seung Gi will turn into a heavily pregnant woman. Leading her husband, two children, and baby in her stomach, she sets off on a journey without a destination.

Lastly, Baek Hyun Jin was cast as Ra Mi Ran’s husband. He may seem blunt, but he truly understands the pain his wife is experiencing. He will be in charge of vitalizing the overall atmosphere of the story.

Meanwhile, Highway Family is a feature film by Young Adult Matters and The Bacchus Lady assistant director Lee Sang Moon. The filming will end later this year with the goal of releasing the movie in 2022.
