2AM is reportedly coming back to the K-pop scene with two title tracks.

According to multiple insiders, Bang Si Hyuk recently gave 2AM a song, which the act had already finished recording. Along with the song produced by JYP, 2AM has also chosen Bang’s song as their new title song.

As such, 2AM is now gearing up for their grand comeback with two title songs, each written by JYP and Bang. Since Bang rarely gave songs to outside singers (meaning singers not affiliated with his label) after BTS’s debut, this gift is all the more special. Naturally, expectations for the return of Bang’s ballad song are through the roof.

2AM, who debuted in 2008 with JYP’s song “This Song,” won the Golden Disk Award in 2010 with Bang’s song “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die,” becoming the best ballad K-pop group. The last time the act dropped an album as a whole group was Let’s Talk, released in 2014. If they really are coming back as some say, it marks 2AM’s return after seven years.

In the meantime, Jo Kwon solidified his position in variety shows and musicals, while Changmin formed a duet group, Homme, with 8ight’s Lee Hyun. Seulong and Jinwoon started their acting careers in earnest while continuing their solo singer careers.
