Choi Tae Joon and Song Ji Eun will be making their drama comeback.
According to media outlets, Choi Tae Joon and Song Ji Eun joined the new drama That Guy’s Voice (literal title).
The story is led by a timid girl who develops an ability to communicate with cats by chance and uses that ability to make deals with the feisty cat she meets. This new fantasy romance drama features a job-seeking part-timer, a handsome pilot, and a cat to unravel the exciting story.
First, Choi Tae Joon plays Baek Tae Hwa, a cat owner and co-pilot. He has good looks and an imposing resume that can impress anyone. There have been many times when he unintentionally made women cry because of his “sweetness.” One day, a pet hotel suddenly closes a day before his flight, and he ends up leaving his cat to a stranger.
Go Mi Rim, played by Song Ji Eun, is an optimistic girl with an ordinary resume. She is struggling to find a real job, working as a part-timer at a convenience store. One day, she gets to look after a cat of a man she has a crush on. That day, she’s struck by lightning and ends up with the ability to hear cats’ voices.
Meanwhile, That Guy’s Voice is already making headlines as it’s Choi’s first comeback project after his military discharge. Brilliant Heritage writer Kim Kyung Hee will pen the scripts. The project will most likely be released on an OTT platform.
