On August 27th, former iKON member B.I. attended the first court hearing in his ongoing illegal drug use case at Seoul Central District Court’s Criminal Agreement Department 25-3.
The prosecution stated at the hearing, “B.I took marijuana three times in March and April 2016, and he also acquired LSD around that time.” We request a three-year prison sentence and a $1,300 fine.”
In his final statement, B.I commented, “I fully admit to all charges and I am deeply reflecting my wrong deeds. I will make sure not to repeat this foolish mistake again. And I want to take the time to look around me and reflect on my past.”
B.I. is facing charges of illegally possessing and using the cannabis and LSD that he purchased from former trainee “A” around April and May in 2016. “A” has also accused YG entertainment of obstructing B.I’s investigation.
B.I was dropped out of both iKON and YG entertainment shortly after his drug charges surfaced online.
