Ji Chang Wook will return to the small screen with When You Say Your Wish (literal title).

According to Sports Chosun, Ji will take the lead role in the new TV series When You Say Your Wish. Set in a hospice, it tells the stories of those who wish to have peaceful deaths.

Ji will play Yoon Gyeo Rae, a man who runs away from death. He is a broken adult who habitually harms himself by getting tattoos on his body whenever he wants to live again. In the end, the viewers will pray that he lives a “happy life” even for a short moment.

Last year, Ji starred in two TV series, Backstreet Rookie and Lovestruck in the City. He will start filming When You Say Your Wish once he finishes filming The Sound of Magic.

In addition, his new film Hard Hit became the highest-grossing film of the year. Hence, the expectations for his small-screen comeback are already through the roof.
