The new disaster comedy film Sinkhole confirmed its August commercial release.

Sinkhole begins when a man’s house, which took him 11 years to obtain, falls down into a sinkhole in a minute. On Wednesday, Showbox confirmed the movie’s August release and unveiled the first poster.

The poster catches the eyes by capturing the aerial view of a sinkhole with a diameter of 500m. In particular, the giant hole that swept up all the buildings and cars and the crowded surrounding area create a strange contrast.

Will Cha Seung Won, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Kim Hye Jun be able to escape this unprecedented disaster safe and sound?

Sinkhole is a new project by The Tower director Kim Ji Hoon. For the film, Kim joined hands with some of the best crew in the industry that worked on The Admiral: Roaring Currents and The Terror Live.
