Kwon Sang Woo and Moon Chae Won will work together in the Korean remake of the Argentine film No Kids.

According to media outlets, Kwon Sang Woo and Moon Chae Won have recently joined director Choi Won Sub’s new rom-com, We Grow (literal title). We Grow is the Korean remake of Roberto Fiesco’s movie No Kids. This upcoming project was conducted under the same title, but it was changed to We Grow to focus more on romantic comedy.

We Grow is a rom-com movie that follows a man who lies about his family when he meets his high school sweetheart. Hitman: Agent Jun director Choi Won Sub helms this production, and Movie Rock produces the film.

Kwon Sang Woo plays a man who used to be in a band but now raises her daughter alone. Moon Chae Won turns into his high school sweetheart, who reunites him after 10 years.

Although the Korean movie industry does not produce many rom-coms, the industry’s keen interest in the movie’s script and cast proved enough for it to get the green light. Besides, this is the third movie he worked on since last year, following The Pirates: Goblin Flag and The Christmas Gift. This is also Moon Chae Won’s comeback to the big screen in three years since Fengshui.

The filming will begin in July.
