Although GFRIEND has disbanded, their social media channels will be kept open. However, the BUDDY membership and fan signing events will fully be refunded.
Earlier today, Source Music issued an official statement via GFRIEND’s Weverse channel. “We apologize for causing concerns to fans with the sudden news. The artists and the company tried the best to give you the news you wanted to hear, but we’re sorry that we couldn’t do so. We would like to thank all the fans who have shown boundless love for GFRIEND,” they wrote.
According to the statement, GFRIEND’s social media, fan cafe, and Weverse channel will not be closed. And all the existing content will be kept open for access to fans. However, BUDDY membership will be refunded for those who wish. The postponed fan signing event will be refunded as well.
