Here are the top 10 weekly idols on the K-pop channel NEW K.ID for the third week of May.

Stray Kids takes the #1 title on NEW K.ID’s Weekly Idol Chart this week. This group has been gaining worldwide popularity. JYP Entertainment has announced that the boy band has taken the #1 titles also on MNET’s Kingdom: Legendary War, based on the current overall ranking. Their “MIROH,” “God’s Menu,” and “Side Effects” performances have been highly popular, and the group has been praised for their live performance skills and musical creativity by not only their peers on the show by global fans worldwide.

Next at #2 is SF9. These boys have also made a more prominent name for themselves on MNET’s Kingdom: Legendary War alongside Stray Kids. As the group gained more popularity through the show, they recently were featured in 1stLook magazine. During their interview photoshoot, they expressed that the time on the show was very memorable. They shared, it was grateful to spend much time with all members.

Following in at #3 is Rocket Punch. The group’s recent single “Ring Ring” has jumpstarted the “newtro” sensation. After the release, it rose to the Korean music charts and even getting to the #1 spot in Brazil and Oman on the iTunes Top K-Pop Singles Chart. The song ranked 2nd in Canada, Australia, and Germany, 3rd in Finland and the U.S., 4th in Turkey, U.K. and Mexico, 6th in Japan, and 8th in Thailand.

THE BOYZ comes in at #4. THE BOYZ will appear on the “2021 King Sejong’s Birthday Week King Sejong Institute Cultural Camp”. On Hangul Day, the group will join the online camp to celebrate King Sejong’s Birthday with over 70,000 Korean language students.

At #5 is BLACKPINK. LISA made an appearance on MNET’s Kingdom: Legendary War. She made a collaboration with iKON on stage as they are under the same label YG Entertainment. The agency announced that LISA had participated in the joint recording, and their on-stage performance set to air on the 20th. It will be the first time LISA will share the stage with other singers other than BLACKPINK members.

DIA takes the #6 spot. Following up at the #7 spot is ONF. The group has successfully finished promotional activities for their new song, “Ugly Dance.” The song reached the top of major domestic music charts immediately after its release, and the music video exceeded ten million views within four days of its release.

Taking the #8 spot is N.Flying. N.Flying has confirmed their comeback for early June. It will be their first release of a full-length album since their debut. They have finished recording and have already finished shooting a music video.

Moving in at #9 is Woo!ah! They will return to the stage on the 27th with their new single album “WISH.” This new song will be released about six months after their second single, “QURIOUS,” released last November.

Finally, the #10 spot this week on NEW K.ID’s Weekly Idol Ranking is LUNASOLAR. The group’s agency J PLANET Entertainment has announced that LUNASOLAR has officially entered the Japanese market. They partnered with Japan’s major music production and distribution company TEICHIKU Entertainment only seven months after their debut.
