Wit the Recent Remake Announcement of ‘Goong’, Attention Focuses on Song Ji Hyo’s Never-Changing Beauty

Yesterday, the online communities heated up when Jaedam Media announced that they will be remaking their manhwa Goong into a new drama. With that news, attention focused on the never-changing beauty of actress Song Ji Hyo.

The Korean manhwa Goong, which was adapted into a drama titled Princess Hours in 2006 and gained huge popularity worldwide. Ju Ji Hoon, Yoon Eun Hye, Kim Jung Hoon, and Song Ji Hyo starred in the drama and instantly became rising stars.

Set in an alternative 21-century Korea where monarchy and imperial family have retained, Goong revolves around the romance between the crown prince and his new bride.

Song Ji Hyo played Min Hyo Rin, a ballerina and crown prince Lee Shin’s first love. She perfectly pulled off a school uniform as a 25-year-old woman and captivated the viewers with her awe-inspiring beauty every episode.

Meanwhile, with the news of the new drama remake, drama fans around the world showed their expectations, even starting a vote for whom they want as the next Shin Chae Kyung (Yoon Eun Hye) and Lee Shin (Ju Ji Hoon).
